Additional Information

Our ceremonies are for members of Firefly Sanctuary only.

​

 All participants must be approved for ceremony by Firefly Sanctuary.

​

 You must be 21+ years old to participate in our ceremonies.

​

 All participants must sign intake, medical history, consent, and liability documents before they will be cleared to participate in a ceremony.

​

 All church members must scan a copy of their government issued ID, or passport as proof of legal age and identity before they will be cleared to participate in a ceremony.

​

 We require at least two weeks for intake and preparation before a ceremony.

​

 No experience with psilocybin mushrooms required.

​

 For your safety and the safety of others, participants are required to store their car keys in our safe before ceremony.   Your car keys will be returned the next morning.

 

For your safety, our ceremonies require guests to stay overnight at the sanctuary.

 

Guests will have a bed with linens and pillows provided in the ceremonial space.

​

 All linens are washed after each ceremony.

 

Our ceremonial space is indoors and comfortable.  Our guests have a view of their natural surroundings, with instant access to the outdoors.  It sleeps 8 people, but we always house less to assure maximum comfort.

 

Our sanctuary has electric, cell phone, and Wi-Fi service.

 

All levels of outdoor experience are welcome.  

 

Although we aren’t a luxury retreat, we aren’t “roughing it”. Our accommodations are basic, but we put a lot of consideration into everyone’s comfort.

 

We don’t participate in strenuous hiking activities.

 

No single use plastic. No outside food or drinks.  

We provide all the food, water, and herbal teas to assure a proper diet and hydration before and after ceremony. Our water is fresh, clean, and full of essential minerals and calcium.

 

No tobacco products. We are a smoke/vape free sanctuary.

 

Firefly Sanctuary will always have at least one CPR certified ceremonial guide on the premises.

​

Although we are on 16 acres in the woods, we do hear the occasional car, or neighbor in the distance.  It is a nice reminder that we are part of a community that extends beyond our sanctuary, and we are grateful to be part of it.
